Game of Thrones season 7: 3 questions 'Eastwatch' should answer

HBO
The moment you realize that maybe Avril Lavigne isn't really that punk... or a big dragon is about to murk you

The scene isn't much of a cliffhanger, since Jaime is nearly definitely going to be OK, but it does seem to mirror another iconic "Game of Thrones" scene also involving the Kingslayer.

This past week's episode Game Of Thrones included arguably the most exciting sequence of the season so far-and no, we're not talking about that sexy spelunking scene with Dany and Jon.

Sunday's "Game of Thrones" Season 7 episode also featured the first real battle between Daenerys and Cersei.

Now that we know the history of Qyburn with his knowledge of poisons, or the "medical arts", along with his involvement in the development of the ballista weapons "Scorpion", what does this mean for Drogon? Daenerys would be expecting Jon to be scared but he won't be. While Daenerys may have won, is she really a victor? In the books, Daenerys is told a prophecy while she was in The House of the Undying back in Qarth.

Episode 4 was simply unbelievable, as it brought us the first massive dragon fight of the season. According to the prophecy, Daenerys will be betrayed once for blood, once for gold, and once for love.

Arya watches Brienne try to teach Podrick how to duel at Winterfell for a short while but then steps in and challenges the legendary knight herself. He recognized numerous dangers associated with going into a battle that would cause those you conquered to fear you rather than admire you. Now, if only Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) would show up as Aquaman and save the day. As Dany offers what seems to be the remainder of the Lannister army to join her or "refuse and die".

A doubtful Tyrion takes counsel from Varys. It's hard to gauge between TV's most intense double act.

But if it is Varys, the betrayal can not be for love (for obvious reasons). And there's also no glimpse of what's happening at The Wall, which is suspicious for an episode named after the fortress Eastwatch, based by the frozen sea.

Jon Snow, the newly proclaimed King of the North, was seen working on his alliance with Daenerys in order to prevent the White Walkers and the army of the dead from invading the Realm.
